The ministry responsible for telecommunications, postal services and information technology policy; it publishes the country's ICT, electronic transactions and cyber-related laws on its website.
What they do
Hosts the texts of the Electronic Transactions and Electronic Signatures Law, the Telecommunications Services Regulation Law, the access-to-information laws, the cyber-crime articles of the Penal Code and a draft cyber security plan. The plan refers to an AfCERT incident-response process, but no CERT page was found on the site; the Council of Europe places data protection under the ministry's Information Systems Security Directorate.
