How this platform is maintained
Accuracy is the product. This page describes exactly how content gets here — and what we will not publish.
The hard rule
Nothing is published automatically, and nothing is published without its source. Research drafts are produced with AI assistance and imported as unpublished. An editor with publishing rights checks each record against the regulator's own website, gazette or press release and publishes it. A law, an obligation, a deadline or an enforcement action can only be published with a link to its source — the system refuses otherwise. A link is marked official when it is the issuing authority's own publication, and source otherwise.
The workflow
- A structured research brief produces draft content for a country.
- Everything imports as unpublished into our editorial system.
- An editor checks each record against its source before publishing it; a record without a source link cannot be published.
- A country page shows a public "Last verified" date once an editor has verified the whole profile; until then it says "Verification in progress".
- News is fetched from official feeds, AI-summarized, and human-reviewed before publication. We publish only original summaries — never the source's full text — and link only to an official source: an item with none is marked as having no confirmed source. When several outlets report one story we group them and prefer the regulator's own publication as the primary.
Coverage tiers & refresh promise
Our re-verification targets: deep (Tier 1) profiles every 3 months, standard (Tier 2) every 6 months, baseline (Tier 3) every 12 months. A profile past its window is flagged to our editors until it is re-verified. The "Last verified" date on a country page is set only by an editor.
Team governance
Editors work with country-scoped access; publishing rights are granted per person; every editorial action is audit-logged; access is reviewed quarterly. We practise the governance we document.
What this is not
This platform is a research and monitoring aid — not legal advice. Always confirm requirements against the official source (which we link) or qualified counsel before acting.
Data & attribution
Beyond official regulator feeds, our editors use keyword monitoring of the open web to catch early developments from outside our registered source list; such items are clearly flagged as unverified until an official source is confirmed. Open-web discovery is powered by Brave Search.
