Frequently asked questions

Is the platform free?

Yes. Browsing is free with a monthly view allowance; a free account removes the limit and unlocks the full enforcement history, the 90-day calendar and exports. No credit card is asked for.

Where does the content come from?

From regulators' websites, legislation portals and press releases. AI helps draft summaries; an editor checks and publishes each record, and a law, obligation, deadline or enforcement action can only be published with a link to its source. See the Methodology page.

How current is a country profile?

A country page shows a "Last verified" date once an editor has verified it. Our targets are to re-verify deep profiles every 3 months, standard profiles every 6 months and baseline profiles every 12 months; a profile past its window is flagged to our editors. News is reviewed and published continuously.

Why is a country only a baseline profile?

Deep profiles are produced in phases. Use the "Request a deep profile" button on a baseline page — requests directly drive which country we expand next.

Can I rely on this instead of legal advice?

No. This is a research and monitoring tool. Published records link to their source — verify there or with qualified counsel before acting.

How do I report an error?

Corrections are welcome — use "Suggest a correction" on any page, or contact us with the page URL and the official reference, and we will check it and fix it.
